There is no rhyme. There is no reason.

My blogger account used to not let me log in everytime I wanted to, so I semi-got out of blogging as much as I used to because of the frustration and sinning it was influencing in me. But now it seems that everything is okay in blogger world, so perhaps my updates will be more frequent - lucky you!! I can't make any promises, tho.....

I bought ink pens for the first time since I've been teaching...and I am finishing up my 7th year teaching!! Can you believe that?? And, no I have not been stealing pens for the past 7 years...unlike some of my home group friends....Instead, I just received A LOT of pens as gifts from the students and other teachers I student taught with. How amazing is that??? Incidently, I also realized this week that I"ve never had to buy paper clips since I've been teaching either.

I hate wearing glasses. I hate getting tiny little smudges on them. Nothing drives me crazier!! I wish I were brave enough to wear contacts. I am a big baby.

Holy cow! One of my neighbors is grilling out on a charcoal grill...is there a better smell than that??

My favorite song going right is "I Know You're There" by Casting Crowns. I have (thankfully) been on an incredible high for a couple of weeks now. I know we're supposed to praise Him in the storm too, but it is nice to be on the mountain for brief moment.

My grandmother turned 93 this week. My family will all be together tomorrow to celebrate. I love her. So much it is ridiculous! Here is a picture so you can see how precious she is:
