latest injury...

Not that I am prone to injuries..but let's reflect on some of the things that have happened to me....

I am the one who gets a bee sting on her foot, causing the foot to swell twice its normal size. Have to go to the doctor (yeah, seriously, for a BEE STING for crying out loud!), doctor puts me on steroids for the swelling and then proceeds to tell me I need to stay off the foot for a couple of days - which was actually fine with me because I couldn't walk anyway. All that for a bee sting...

I am also the one who has her wisdom teeth removed (common procedure...) and comes out with nerve damage and no feeling in her chin. Ever had a doctor poke you with a toothpick?? ...pretty weird. You would think he'd have something more technical than a toothpick......

I could tell you even more stories...but...

My latest injury happened yesterday evening. My dog, spooked by the waterhose apparently, decided to wrap himself around my legs (I was wearing shorts...) with his leash and THEN take off running as fast as he could. Guess what happened next? Serious leash burn on both legs. It is absolutely ridiculous....and well, gross. And it actually hurts to walk - but I don't do pain very well either , so I am aware that I could be exaggerating. But it does hurt. And it is gross. And I hope it doesn't get any more weird than that.....
