Ever had your power go off because of an ice or snow storm? Remember that feeling you get when your power is turned back on? My brother is part of the reason we have restoration of electricity! He is a lineman, so his busy time of the year has just started. Thursday, he called me to tell me that he was leaving for St. Louis, Missouri and that he might not be home for Christmas. I'm very happy that he gets to travel and that he loves his job and that he's making good money, but I'm praying him home for Christmas :)
I just got finished putting up my Christmas tree. Didn't get a real one this year! First time in forever that I haven't had a real tree, but I will manage. My tree is little, but Christmas isn't about the tree anyway, right? Honestly, I didn't feel like that a couple of hours ago when I pulled that 1970s fake tree out of the cardboard box, but I think I've done an exceptional job with what I've been given!! I think it's cute!!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!
