My house is lookin' good!! Upstairs tile is finished and painting is almost done. I am the painter and I hate painting, so that's taking me a while...sigh... The downstairs tile will be done soon - it's mostly done, just a few more tiles and then the grouting. Carpet will be put down week after next - which should give me time to finish pulling up all the old, nasty stuff and get the furniture moved out of the way! Yay for bathroom floods!!! Hopefully, by the end of spring, all major changes to my house will be COMPLETE!!!
This past weekend was very sad, with the Clemson Loss to the Gamecocks. Carolina played a better game - period. What makes me more upset than the loss are the Clemson fans who booed Carolina when they came out on the field. That is quite ridiculous. I am competitive and hate to lose more than most my friends, but I don't see the purpose in all that booing!!! It's annoying.....
I got to see a lot of my old friends over Thanksgiving!!! Trey and Aaron were both in town and I also got to see Snake, Amanda, and the baby. It was nice having drama free hang out time with everyone. Trey even went to the game with Natalie and I....that was a nice surprise. and then during Wake Forest and Maryland half timeTrey and I went out to eat sushi and practically raw steak - the raw steak was not exactly what I wanted, but I ate around the rawness and gave the rest to Trey. It worked out quite well.
This week I've been back at work teaching my eigth graders. Typical week = Good > Tolerable > Good Heavens, is it Friday yet?!?!?!??! Needless to say, I'm ready for the weekend. Angela is coming into town and the girls are heading to NC to see a Christmas play!! Two more weeks until Christmas Break....shout out to Jesus for being born :)
