I am about to go lay down on my couch and read a book for an hour. Then I'm going to get up, brush my teeth, comb through my hair, etc. and head to the insanely huge town of Piedmont to hang out with old friends Jennifer and Heather. Jennifer just had her second child (John Luke--little bro to Eliza Ann) and I will get to meet him tonight. I'm so so excited. Heather is cooking dinner for us and that makes me excited too...cause hey, I LOVE FOOD!! She has also made a homemade cheesecake. I love these girls. We practically grew up together in the great town of Pickens. This picture was taken mine and Jennifer's senior year of high school in 1995 ~ look how sweet and innocent we look!!!
I still have that top....and I still wear it...hehe!!
It doesn't make sense that Jennifer and I will be 30 in the spring. Our birthdays are almost exactly one month apart and it seems like for the longest time, we'd go through the exact thing - even down to buying new cars, getting flat tires and broken windshields on those cars, breaking up with guys....you name it, it probably happened to us! And Heather....well, she's always been the one that needed taken care of! She was more of the rebel ~ or I guess tried to be anyway! It's been a little over a year since the 3 of us have been together like this and I'm pretty excited!! Yay for old friends remaining friends and being able to get together and have fun!!!!
