George Strait's new song...Give it Away? If you know me well, you know that I'm a big fan of King George (he's still looking pretty good...). In his new song he's talking about a relationship gone bad (isn't he always?)
Doesn't that suck? That moment when you finally realize that you are tired of giving and giving in a relationship and trying to make things work....you get so tired of the work, that the relationship just doesn't matter anymore. And no matter how special the 'little sentimentals' that once meant so much...they don't even matter. That moment sucks when you are brought to say, "Just give it away. There ain't nothin' in this house worth fightin' over. Oh, an' we're both tired of fightin' anyway, so just give it away."
Which brings me to song #2 of the evening..."tonight I'm sittin' at home, diggin' up bones" :)
....and I know this sounds like i'm depressed, but I'm really not...that's why i put the smiley face. I just heard that song and it got me to thinking.
