Southern Gospel Music....
is a lost art. Seriously, this genre of music was such a huge part of my life growing up! We always looked forward to going to "singings" - they weren't called concerts for some reason. I especially loved the group The Cathedrals (see below - youtube is amazing!) Here's a taste...or perhaps even a reminder....

They are still called "singings" in Southern Gospel land...You should come see the Melodyaires soon! Not sure when they are playing, but I would love to see you at a "singing!! :)
