Here we are pre-game. Downtown Nashville is behind us. Those clouds eventually rolled away and we ended up burning up during the game! It was hot!!!! The band, Trailer Park (yeah, no kidding) is about to come out and play. They were actually pretty good!
~While in Nashville, we toured the Gaylord Opryland Hotel - which was amazing!
~We also saw an art exhibit made completely of ice. The very nice people prepared us by giving us a quilted parka before entering. This exhibit was one of the neatest things I've seen. Everything was made of ice including a slide (I forgot to pick my feet up) and a nativity scene.
This is at the very beginning. Can you tell how cold we are??
Thankfully, I had a pair of gloves in my coat :)
~ Angela was in town, so when I came home, we hung out with the girls for a little while.
~ The next day was New Year's Eve. After church and lunch, Angela, Anna, and I headed out for our photoshoot :)
~That night I rang in the New Years with Ike, the Cunninghams, and the Paeses. We almost missed counting down the new year, but thankfully, we didn't! We played 3 games of Moods. One of which I won and two of which I tied :) Very cool New Years....but I don't have a picture yet....(so, Dan, if you're reading this....)
~Yesterday I went back to work, today I returned to work again and actually had to teach. The day was good and I actually feel good about being back at work....for the moment anyway!
~I'm looking forward to a great year! I start seminary classes soon and I'm pretty excited about learning some new stuff!
Here's to 2007!!!
