Who Will Unload the Carpet?

I went to the dump just now to haul off a load of some old carpet that I have pulled up from my house. I back up to the dumpster and get out of my car. There is a dumpster employee standing beside the dump - smkoing a cigar, mind you. He asks, "You have carpet?" and I told him yes and that I might need some help with one particular piece. And he reluctantly begins to walk ever so slowly towards my truck. By the time he even gets over there, I have the big piece jerked out of my truck. I am not going to let him help me if he's going to be that way!! Arrrggg!!! This really upsets me!! And this is an older gentleman too! There are two other pieces in the back of the truck and do you think he offers to help with those?!?!? Heck no! He just walks back over to the dump, leans back up against it, and watches me unload and throw the carpet over! What is the world coming too???? Men, if you see a female carrying ANYTHING, it doesn't even have to be something heavy, do me a favor and at least offer to carry if for her. And I'm learning a lesson too...females, if a man offers to help you out with something, let him. Maybe our defensviness in being independent make men the way they are??? Of course, I won't let them off the hook that easy...., but just think about it.

....have a great weekend :)

It's not always been this way. It was out of circumstance and survival that we have come to depend on ourselves. I have learned if I have a man offer to help, I let him. It seems to be a rarity these days.
And where have all the cowboys gone? :)
