I love my dog. That must precede this 'Boone Story'.....
So I come home from a looooong day at work, partly because I haven't slept well last night because my body, I'm sure, is still in summer mode. Take note that Boone is a little less than happy that I'm back at work, so today he has a couple of surprises for me. Let me set the stage a little. Boone is one year old and since he's one, I have been letting him stay out in my bedroom instead of locked up in his kennel while I'm away. Usually, he does well. Not so much today. There were CDs all over the room. CD pages ripped out of the case. Pillow on the floor. Papers torn to shreds. And to top it all off, his favorite thing to do when he's mad at me.....poop on the floor! Needless to say, I am mad at my dog and need a little venting session while he's content in the living room chewing on his rawhide bone.
Ironically, Anna bought me a book over the weekend entitled How to Live With a Neurotic Dog. I began reading this book and it's quite hilarious. Maybe this book will give me some insight to how to continue loving a neurotic dog?!?!?
On a grander note, I got to hang out with my two Rock Hill friends....but not at the same time. Natalie's parents had me over for supper Sat. night and Angela graced Anderson this weekend. I love hanging out with my girls. Hopefully, a trip to Rock Hill will be in the works!!!!
I have to go clean this nasty house. It is beginning to smell bad......
