Shout Out

My newphew got back a few weeks ago from a mission trip with his church and he shared a little bit about his experiences with the church. Trent is not exactly the most outspoken person, and is actually pretty quiet until you get to know him. But last night, his personality and his love for God really came through in his testimony. I sat there amazed at how he pulled me in with his stories and his realness. And I couldn't help but think about my dad, who truth be told, was basically Trent's dad as well. I know that he was beaming down from Heaven, hanging onto his grandson's every word too! I had asked my Home Group to pray especially for Trent on this trip, and I guess they really did. I know that God has awesome plans for Trent--and I can't wait to see what else He's going to do in his life.
