A Father's Committed Love

I am a blogging fool lately...but here's another thought.

Do you realize how bad we really are? I feel like God gets so frustrated with me that he's just up there shaking His head at me. And I know my earthly father's up there saying, "Really, I tried. I gave it my best. I taught her better than that!" And then they just chuckle together....because that's what dads do!! But neither one of them quit loving me or give up on me because my two fathers are committed to the process that makes me like Jesus....and boy, do I have a LOOOOONG way to go.....

I think the kid song He's Still Working on Me was written just for my life! "He's still working on me; to make me what I ought to be; it took Him just a week to make the moon and the stars; the sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars; How loving and patient He must be; Cause He's still working on me"
